When a white dove is released at funeral, it symbolizes the releasing of the spirit of the loved one. The dove release ceremony often helps those who are mourning a loss "release their loved one" in a special way, thus helping the grieving process.
 
We release the doves with great respect paid to families for funerals at the graveside of the departed.
 
You can write a small message to your loved one and we will place it on the ring of the dove.
 The message slips free and floats through the clouds as the dove makes its way back home

At the gravesite, a single dove is released from a decorative basket representing the spirit of a loved one.

At the gravesite 2 doves will be released to return on their journey home.
 
OPTION 3
At the gravesite 3 doves will be released from a decorative basket symbolising The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Then a beloved relative or friend will then release a single dove representing the spirit of the loved one. The final single dove will then join the other 3 and circle overhead before they embark on their spiritual journey home.

Weddings and Civil ceremonies.

Doves symbolize love, peace, happiness, and prosperity, and can be released outdoors as the couple leaves the church or during an outdoor ceremony. 

The trained white doves, circle the couple and then fly away, denoting the newlyweds' departure from their families and toward life's new journey.

You will see that our doves are pure white. This represents the bride and groom as they begin their life's journey together in purity, peace and love.

 In addition, doves can be on display in a decorative heart shaped cage for all guests to view before the release.

What happens to the birds when they are released?

When released, our doves normally circle the area a few times in formation, before acquiring their bearings and flying home. Once they are, they are rewarded with fresh water and food

Who releases the doves?

Love Doves is always present at the time of release. Our professional staff is curteous, reliable and dressed appropriately for your occasion. We never ship birds to be released. However we are happy to let various people hold and enjoy the thrill of releasing the doves themselves with our guidance.

When are doves released at a wedding?

It is mostly done after the ceromony and if it is a church affair, dove releases are typically performed after the couple exits the church to greet their guests. We will also try and work together with your photographer to capture some of the special moments.

Do I need to worry about doves going to the bathroom during a release?

We pick the best birds for that day. They are trained birds and have not responded that way in any release. The actual release only lasts but a few moments, so the chances of this happening are very unlikely.
